The success of others can sometimes be a stumbling block. King Saul was intensely jealous of a rising David. His offence grew by the day until his unchecked aggression transformed him into a "spear chucker". People like this still exist today, and they can go from a "silent" response to offence to a "boom" response in less than 3 seconds. What can we learn from a young David about dealing not only with offence but also with those who have an explosive reaction to those who offend them?
