Reconciling suffering with the belief in a saving God can be challenging. However, Paul offers guidance and comfort through his words in 2 Corinthians 4. He compares ourselves to fragile jars of clay holding the treasure of the gospel message, the saving work and love of Jesus Christ. This does not make it easier to understand things when we suffer, but it can bring us hope.
