In Romans 13, Paul shifts the conversation entirely. He goes from discussing our relationships with each other and God to our relationship with the state. Christians are called to be exemplary citizens obeying the law since all authority is ultimately from God. However, there are situations where Christians may face the challenge of navigating conflicting laws or government actions that seem contrary to their faith. What are we to do then?
