We don’t like waiting, and waiting becomes the hardest thing we must do while we are going through a bad time or suffering. Yet, waiting does not need to be a passive thing. Like Joseph, we can use this time to push into God and let Him develop our character. We can become so fixated on getting past a specific season of life that we might miss the God-given opportunities right in front of us to engage with others while we have to wait.
